Synopsis of the role

At Equifax, the Summer 2025  Finance FP&A Co-op a 15-week co-op program, is a gateway to full-time career paths for current university students who are currently pursuing their Bachelor’s Degree. The program provides meaningful projects with direct impact on our business as well as exposure to senior leaders and opportunities to network. As a full time Finance Coop for Equifax Canada, you will deliver across our teams by enabling capabilities such as Strategic Business Partnership, Insights and Analytics and Digital acumen to equip our organization for long-term success.

  • The 15 week co-op  program runs from May 5th, 2026 to August 20th, 2026.

  • Co ops  are required to follow our hybrid onsite policy of  Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday- onsite for the duration of the 15 - week program. 

  • Monday and Friday are remote work days. 

  • Co ops  must be local to the Toronto area and have the ability to commute to our office in Toronto based on where the role is.


What You’ll do 

  • Support Finance on ad-hoc projects (e.g., Line of Business reporting)

  • Act as a member on our core finance team

  • Develop insightful analysis on business results

  • Assist the monthly P&L forecast process

  • Generate ideas on how to deliver more value to the business

  • Analyze in year business drivers, trends and associated impacts

  • Ensure the accuracy of key financial performance metrics & reporting

  • Maintain & develop complex Excel forecasting models and tools

  • Lead continuous process Improvements and provide recommendations

What Experience you need 

  • Candidates currently enrolled  with University Degree in Business/ Accounting / Finance / Commerce / Information Systems

  • Analytical and collaborative thinker

  • Excellent analytical problem solving skills

  • Ability to see the big picture, with attention to detail

  • Interest in pursuing a CPA designation considered an asset
