As a Data Architect Lead, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the overall data architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology standards. You will design and implement robust data models, databases, and data integration processes to support enterprise-wide analytics and reporting needs. Collaborating with business stakeholders, data analysts, and IT teams, you will identify data requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Your role will also involve ensuring data quality, integrity, and security by implementing best practices for data governance and data management processes.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the overall data architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology standards. 

• Design and implement robust data models, databases, and data integration processes to support enterprise-wide analytics and reporting needs. 

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and IT teams to identify data requirements and translate them into technical solutions. 

• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security by implementing best practices for data governance and data management processes. 

• Lead the data architecture team, providing guidance, mentoring, and professional development opportunities to ensure high performance and productivity. 

• Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in data architecture, incorporating new technologies and methodologies to enhance the organization's data capabilities. 

• Develop and maintain documentation for data architecture, including data models, data flow diagrams, and data dictionaries. 

• Establish and enforce data standards, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization. 

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimize data processes, reduce redundancy, and increase efficiency. 

• Partner with IT and business leaders to develop and implement data strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals. 

• Manage data architecture projects, including planning, resource allocation, and risk management, to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions. 

• Provide technical leadership and expertise in data architecture, guiding the organization through complex data challenges and initiatives. 

• Ensure the scalability and performance of the data architecture, supporting the organization's growth and evolving data needs. 

• Collaborate with data governance teams to establish data stewardship practices and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. 

• Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making by promoting the use of data and analytics across the organization and providing training and support to stakeholders. 

• Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to leverage their expertise and solutions in data architecture. 

• Monitor and evaluate emerging data technologies and trends, making recommendations for their adoption to enhance the organization's data capabilities. 

Qualifications/Key Skills

• A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, data science, or a related field. 
• Proficiency in data modeling tools and techniques. 
• Strong knowledge of database management systems (DBMS) such as SQL, NoSQL, and cloud-based databases. 
• Experience with data integration tools and ETL processes. 
• Familiarity with data governance and data management best practices. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. 
• Up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data architecture. 
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and data compliance standards. 
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
