Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Defense Space and Security is currently looking for a Test & Evaluation Engineer Experience Level to join their team in Little Mountain Test Facility, Ogden, Utah.

The selected candidate will participate in gathering and analyzing requirements for test measurement systems.  Assist in the development of test procedures, and instrumentation and configuration definition to perform the test within the constraints of the test plan. Develop solutions to calibration systems problems. Perform data analysis, develops and utilizes data processing tools. Design simple component level hardware or software. Use analytical tools to verify the design. Verifie collection of complete data set. Maintains test logs, prepares simple test reports and archives data and work under direct supervision.

Position Responsibilities:

  • General knowledge and is proficient in the operation, integration, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of automatic test equipment (and associated software, Test Program Sets (TPS), and programming codes).
  • Designs component and sub-assembly level hardware or software as specified by the Statement of Work. Uses analytical tools to verify the design. Assists in coordinating the manufacture and assembly of test hardware.
  • General knowledge across a wide range of radiation effects and electronic, electrical, software engineering disciplines (e.g. analog and digital circuit design, electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) electrical design, embedded software and microprocessor based system designs).

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • General knowledge of test support equipment (Oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc)
  • General knowledge of microelectronics and their performance in a radiation environment
  • General knowledge of electrical principles.
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Relocation:

Summary pay range: $95,200 – $128,800
