Job Description:
Parsons is looking for a talented C2BMC Logistics Analyst to join our team! In this role you will participate in logistics planning and deployment execution of MDA Command, Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) systems worldwide.
What You'll Be Doing:
Logistics & Transportation: Assist in the transportation preparation, scheduling, and coordination of MDA assets movement, both domestically and internationally, while maintaining an understanding of environmental effects on corrosion control and prevention.
Battle Management Operations
Sustainment & Obsolescence Management: Maintain a strong understanding of maintenance, sustainment, obsolescence management, and Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) principles. Assess results from RAM reviews and associated monthly and quarterly reports. Perform element- and component-level obsolescence assessments.
Documentation & Reporting: Prepare clear and concise information/decision papers and MDA/C2PO staff coordination packages for senior leadership, providing timely information for critical decision-making.
Facilities and Infrastructure Support: Assist as a Facility Lead for new construction and renovation projects, capturing, creating, and coordinating requirements for facility approvals, project execution from cradle to grave.
Property Management: Assist property team with inventory, decommissioning, and disposal support of MDA equipment and site infrastructure assets.
Prime Contractor Oversight: Assist the government in overseeing the prime contractor's development of C2BMC, ensuring alignment of replacement and tech refresh equipment with baseline and operational requirements.
Integration & Deployment Support: integration and deployment meetings, ensuring operational considerations are prioritized and effectively integrated.
C3BM Site Surveys: Assist with C3BM site surveys, including host nation activities. Develop facility requirements, installation plans, schedules, bills of material, and agreements to enable fielding upgrades of new and existing Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management (C3BM) capabilities.
Facility Design & Integration: Develop and participate in facility requirements and design reviews and maintain coordination and communications with stakeholders through deployment and system installation. Identify, define, and document internal and external facility operating environment requirements for mission facilities and infrastructure that underpin mission critical equipment and systems necessary to operate the system.
Ancillary Systems Integration: Deployment and scheduling to support the integration of new external system components into the Missile Defense System, ensuring seamless interoperability.
ICD & ECP Review: Review MDA System-level Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), ensuring compliance and alignment with operational needs.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Master's degree and 12+ years of relevant operational, logistics, and engineering experience in Missile Defense, or related fields, or a bachelor’s degree and 20+ years of relevant experience.
Active Secret clearance.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential to interface effectively and communicate across multiple MDA organizations, the Prime Contractor and Combatant Command personnel.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Prior military experience is helpful, but not required, at the Combatant or Component Command Staff level, and/or experience with transportation, deployment, and integration of defense systems is highly desirable.
General understanding of system and operational interoperability as it applies to the Missile Defense System, including experience with testing and validation.
