The Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) is Australia's leading provider of integrated financial services. We are committed to continuously improving our services and governance practices to ensure they are aligned with customers, stakeholders and business needs.
See yourself in our team
Group Audit and Assurance (GA&A) is the internal audit function for the Group. Our primary purpose is to provide independent and objective assurance of the effectiveness of the Group’s risk management, controls and governance processes. To ensure GA&A continues to support the business with insights and provides quality reporting to the Board, the team is continually reimaging itself and uses the latest in global technology.
Do work that matters
The Corporate Governance and Reporting team plays a critical role in ensuring GA&A delivers high quality and meaningful insights and reporting to senior CBA stakeholders. This includes the Board Audit Committee, and the Risk & Compliance and People & Remuneration Committees of the CBA Board of Directors, the CEO and the Executive Leadership Team Non-Financial Risk Committee. The team also facilitates close relationships between the Group Auditor and regulators, including the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) and the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC).
