What You’ll Get to Do

CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Software Developer. This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, US EUCOM located OCONUS in Stuttgart, Germany. This position is required to travel OCONUS. EUCOM J5 seeks to develop software solutions using agile methodology embodying best practices. The Software Developer works with the Scrum team to develop software packages. They support and code client side and/or server-side applications in a development environment, test code for accuracy in pre-production, and ensure interoperability and completeness to achieve desired results within the production environment. Works with Product Owner to deliver necessary documentation and testing results.

More About the Role

  • Work with a Product Owner and testing teams to develop, test, and refine the applications to meet stakeholder requirements, integrating both .NET Controls and Web Service implementations as part of the overall Knowledge Management architecture. 
  • Work in a collaborative team environment to develop custom standalone applications and customizations
  • Isolate, diagnose, repair and resolve software problems.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and sprint reviews
  • Participate in formal and informal peer reviews of code
  • Provide feedback for regular internal process improvement and best practice reviews

You’ll Bring These Qualifications

  • Secret with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance
  • 5-7 years’ experience in a SharePoint Architecture and/or Applications Development role.
  • IAT Level II certification(s) in accordance with DoD 8570.1
  • Microsoft Certification in .NET Application Development
  • Experience in troubleshooting and maintaining customized implementations of SharePoint 2010 and developing applications for SharePoint 2016 or 2019
  • Requires a firm understanding of technologies including but not limited to C#, .NET Framework, Angular, Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML), ASP.NET, XML, JSON, JavaScript, CSS, SQL, UI/Bootstrap, Web Services (REST/SOAP), and Internet Information Server (IIS), and standard software development version control/management systems (TFS, Git, etc).
  • Must have experience working with standard software development lifecycle processes, including peer review, quality assurance testing, and security hardening
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and documentation skills. Able to work in an open work environment.

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have

  • Experience with complex systems/organizations, portals, enterprise search, enterprise content management, and business intelligence.
  • Experience with developing responsive applications
  • Experience working in, or open to working in, an Agile (preferably SCRUM) development environment.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$75,200 - 158,100 USD
