What you bring to SBHG (qualifications):

• Master’s degree in social science, plus two (2) years of experience working in a behavioral health field, OR
• Bachelor’s degree in social science, plus four (4) years of experience working in a behavioral health field.
• License or Certification:
• Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist (MHRS)
• Valid California Driver's License
• Meets Agency driver eligibility criteria

NOTE: This position requires driving from home to home, working with clients in the community, and possibly transporting clients in personal vehicles.

Must possess a valid California Driver's License and maintain a driving record that meets the company driver's eligibility policy.

How you will make a difference (job overview):

The Coordinator has responsibility for the oversight and coordination of Community Services programs.

Division/Program Overview:

• The program sees adults (18+) and older adults.  
• It is a FULLY community-based program - all services happen at a person's home or community.  
•  The clients have complex needs - medication, housing, vocational, independent living and mental health.  
• The intensity for services for each client is about 10 hours per month and once we are fully up and running, we'll have a census of about 50 adults.  
• We are preparing to also start an Adult Outpatient Program which this position would oversee as well. Eventually, this position will have all our Adult programs, including IHOT.
