Main responsibilities

• Lead a global team of Data Stewards for corporate data, driving governance processes that ensure data quality and compliance.
• Define and deliver actionable governance strategies across all data domains, aligned with Global Enterprise Governance frameworks.
• Design, enhance, and maintain the structures, practices, and processes that underpin effective data governance.
• Guide continuous data cleansing efforts and oversee the consistent application of data policies across the organization and local Data Maintenance Teams.
• Oversee operational master data activities and establish clear guidelines for adoption across teams.
• Partner with business and data stakeholders using Agile methodology to embed governance into Sanofi's global operating model.

About you

Experience: Solid professional background in data governance or data management, with proven ability to ensure governance process compliance across complex, global organizations.

Soft and technical skills:

• Proven track record of leading teams with a governance mindset, managing multiple stakeholders across functions and geographies
• Strong business acumen — understanding how digital and data initiatives drive business value
• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to bridge business and technical domains, making complex concepts accessible to all audiences
• Forward-thinking and innovative, with enthusiasm for exploring core model solutions that support process transformation
• Ability to see the global picture across multiple domains and teams
• Hands-on experience with data concepts; knowledge of MDM and CI/CD is a plus
• Strong presentation skills, attention to detail, and active listening
• Collaborative team player comfortable working independently and within multicultural teams
• Quick learner who adapts to new business concepts and thrives in a fast-changing environment

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field

Languages: Fluent in English (essential for operating in a multicultural environment)
