Join the Digital Strategy, Governance & Transformation team in Airbus India, a key hub driving this global change. We are looking for proactive Data Architects / Data Modellers for our federated company data architecture model referential.
As a core member of our team, your mission will be to create, integrate and shape the global design of the company's federated ontology and related business- and IT data architecture models. Thus, you will be instrumental in implementing the strategic data mesh approach across the entire company, fostering data continuity, advanced analytics, and strategic decision-making. Primary Responsibilities: Drive Global Data Strategy
Facilitate Data Federation: As a trusted partner, guide the domains' Data Offices and Data Architects in the convergence on a common, federated enterprise data architecture, with a focus on seamless data flows along critical business processes and between key applications.
Repository Ownership & Integrity: Assume ownership and rigorous accountability for the integrity and quality assurance of the company's central data architecture repository and all managed data models.
Stakeholder Enablement: Proactively engage and enable contributors across business domains, providing coaching, method, tools, and encouragement to co-create reusable high-quality data architecture assets in the federated context.
Drive Reuse: Promote data architecture assets to enterprise architects and IM product development teams to maximize efficient reuse of data.
Continuous Improvement: Provide critical feedback to owners of related governance, methods, and tools to drive their continuous refinement and excellence.
Qualification & Experience: Your Profile
Expertise: Strong, demonstrable experience in modeling ontologies, data architecture, and enterprise architecture, including proficiency in modeling standards and managing model repositories.
Experience: At least 5+ years of overall experience in the IT and Data field, with a proven track record in modeling and implementing cost-effective data solutions.
Domain Knowledge: Knowledge of implementation of data management solutions.
Aviation Knowledge: The global understanding of the business context of an Aircraft manufacturer in order to connect the business needs business and IM solutions is a plus.
Analytics Focus: Practical experience in data analytics, dashboarding, and related applications.
Soft Skills: High level of stakeholder management skills. You engage the contributors of the federated data model and guide or coach them to create valuable data architecture assets. It's about giving meaning, encouragement, open communication, and agility.
Global Collaboration: International experience and proven ability to thrive in multicultural teams.
Communication: English language proficiency is essential.
