Job Summary:
The AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) Lead for Facilities is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the annual maintenance contracts related to the facility's infrastructure, equipment, and services. This role ensures that all maintenance activities are carried out efficiently, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Management:
- Develop, negotiate, and manage annual maintenance contracts with vendors and service providers.
- Ensure all contracts are compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor contract performance and address any issues or discrepancies.
- Maintenance Planning:
- Create and implement maintenance schedules for all facility equipment and infrastructure.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure minimal disruption to operations during maintenance activities.
- Track and report on maintenance activities and outcomes.
- Vendor Coordination:
- Liaise with vendors to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
- Conduct regular performance reviews of vendors and service providers.
- Resolve any conflicts or issues with vendors promptly.
- Budget Management:
- Prepare and manage the annual maintenance budget.
- Monitor expenditures and ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Provide regular financial reports to the Facilities Manager.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections.
- Implement corrective actions for any identified safety hazards.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, contracts, and expenditures.
- Prepare detailed reports on maintenance performance and contract management.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management or a related role.
- Proven experience in managing maintenance contracts and vendor relationships.
- Skills:
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
- Proficient in budget management and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Working Conditions:
- This position may require occasional travel(30% Minimal) to vendor sites and other company locations.
- The role involves working in both office and facility environments, with exposure to maintenance activities and equipment.
