ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • “Must understand and practice the concept of teamwork”
  • “Ensure that each guest receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every guest, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of customer service.” Changed to “Serves food to guest with high level of customer service.”
  • “Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness in all areas”
  • “Must strive to provide guest with a memorable experience and exceed their expectations by anticipating their needs.” Added
  • “Assist with collecting all banquet equipment to include flatware, china, glassware, and serving pieces needed for each event.” Added
  • “Assist with preparation and set-up of event room when necessary”
  • “Prepare tables with place settings as instructed”
  • “Ensure health codes are followed”
  • “Prepares food and beverage for customer”
  • “Follow all rules and regulations for serving alcohol”
  • Change “could involve some ‘pre-shopping’ for backstage catered events” to “Shop for backstage and green rooms items that have the highest quality. No bruised fruits or vegetables. Communicate items that are unavailable”

  • Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to accomplish job.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move around the facility; to stand for long hours during events; talk and hear. This position may require work inside or outside of the building, as needed by events.
  • Daily lifting to 20 lbs., constant reaching, stooping, standing, and walking. Must be able to balance serving trays and have good manual dexterity.
  • Required to move around the facility; to stand for long hours during events; talk and hear.
  • This position requires work inside and outside of the building, parking lots included and some exposure to adverse conditions.
  • Performing work through repetitive eye/hand coordination.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or GED or one to three months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
