Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, utilizing modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions tailored to meet specific business needs. You will engage in problem-solving activities, ensuring that the software solutions align with the overall objectives of the organization while maintaining a focus on quality and performance. Roles & Responsibilities: - Policy & Standards Management: Oversee the adoption of a global security policies and standards framework in the region. In addition, ensure these global policies and standards (and any exceptions to them) are maintained current, relevant, and appropriately managed over their lifecycle. - Information Management: Lead the development of a high-value asset framework, information management controls to drive the proper application of security controls in a manner that is commensurate with the associated risks. Ensure all relevant information repositories and sources are updated for effective coverage of security control implementation. - Risk Management: Coordinate with regional security officers to ensure the timely identification of cyber risk across markets as well as compliance with all appropriate regulatory requirements and internal cyber security policies and standards. - Communications, Awareness & Training: Lead the development of and oversee regional cyber security training, education, and spread awareness. - Compliance Management: Report on the effectiveness of governance and compliance activities by collecting and aggregated key risk and compliance metrics globally. - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with industry trends and technologies. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide feedback on software design. Professional & Technical Skills: - Governance on Information Security policies and standards and continually monitoring the information security controls, KRIs or KPIs and technical landscape. - Governance on Information Security policies and standards and continually monitoring the information security controls, KRIs or KPIs and technical landscape. - Implementation of ISMS across the organization, working in European time zone, driving the topics and taking to closure. - Deep understanding of cyber security and the relationship between threat, vulnerability and information value in the context of governance, compliance and risk management. - Comprehensive understanding of Information Security Frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST CSF, GovS 007 and Cyber Essentials) and GDPR. - Knowledge of current industry methods for evaluating, implementing, and disseminating information technology (IT) security tools and procedures. - An understanding of emerging technology and digital trends and their impact on cyber security. - High proficiency with common cyber security management frameworks, regulatory requirements and industry leading practices. - Strong knowledge of third-party management leading practices and the potential cyber security risks involved in third-party relationships. - Strong knowledge of organizational training and education policies, processes, and procedures. - Deep understanding of risk-based decision-making (i.e. risk analysis, mitigation, resolution, acceptance, etc.). - Deep understanding of the operational impacts of cyber security lapses. - Good or Excellent project management skills or knowledge to co-ordinate and drive security projects - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Cybersecurity Fundamentals. - Strong understanding of secure coding practices and principles. - Experience with threat modeling and risk assessment methodologies. - Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards. - Knowledge of incident response and vulnerability management. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Cybersecurity Fundamentals. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
