Department/Project overview:

• The Vendor Management department is crucial for TD SYNNEX as it is responsible for managing and optimizing supplier relationships. The intern will have the opportunity to learn about best practices in negotiation, data analysis, and contract management. This project aims to ensure that the company obtains the best products and services at the best cost, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of operations.

Areas of the business that the intern would partner with:

• The intern will collaborate with various areas, including: purchasing, finance, operations, IT and others.

Project responsibilities/deliverables:

• Support in sending quotes and purchase orders, ensuring compliance.

• Continuity of the AI matrix for quotes.

• Support in activities as: Document Review: Ensure that all necessary documents for quotes and purchase orders are complete and accurate before sending them out. Communication with Suppliers: Maintain contact with suppliers to ensure that quotes are sent on time and that responses are received as needed. Order Tracking: Follow up on the status of purchase orders to ensure that delivery timelines are met and to resolve any issues that may arise. Information Recording: Update and maintain records of all quotes and purchase orders in the system for easy access and future review. Continuity of the AI Matrix for Quotes Data Updates: Ensure that the AI matrix is updated with the latest information about suppliers and products to improve the accuracy of quotes. Data Analysis: Use analytical tools to evaluate the performance of previous quotes and make adjustments to the matrix as necessary.  Results Monitoring: Regularly evaluate the results of quotes generated by the AI matrix to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

Qualifications, Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities and Working Conditions:

• Be a current college student or recent graduate (within the past year)
• Related to Business Administration or Engineering.
• Knowledge of Excel and PowerBI
• Learning and proactive skills.
• Be able to work as part of a team
• Able to manage multiple tasks at one time
