Job Title: C​lient Care Coordinator (Veterinary Receptionist)

Salary: £11.56 per hour

Location: Cromwell Vets, St Neots

Job Type: Part-time, Permanent

Hours: 22.25hours (Average over a two week period)

If so, we would love you to join our fantastic front-of-house team as our new Customer Care Coordinator!

At Cromwell Vets we pride ourselves on our excellent standards for patient and client care and rely on our client co-ordinators to help promote this.

Your role and responsibilities

  • Welcoming clients and their pets upon arrival

  • Answering the phone in a polite and friendly manner, dealing with any enquiries and booking appropriate appointments, using our in-house system.

  • Managing the diaries effectively and ensure the smooth running of vets and nurses consults.

  • Helping to assist with administrative duties including answering email enquiries and online booking requests.

  • Taking payments over the phone.

  • Transferring calls to the appropriate person.

  • Have a clear speaking voice and be empathetic and sensitive at certain situations.

Personal Specification

  • A valid driving license is required. Must be flexible and able to cover shifts across our Cromwell branches.

  • Reception/Client Care experience

  • Strong administration and organisation skills

  • Confident using the telephone

  • Reception or Client Care experience

  • Cash handling and till operation

  • Previous experience of working in a veterinary/doctors surgery (Desirable)

  • IT skills – confident in the use of Word, Excel and Outlook as a minimum.
