Mark43’s mission is to empower communities and their governments with new technologies that improve the safety and quality of life for all. We build powerful, scalable, and elegant software that sets a new standard for the tools upon which our public safety professional rely. Our users are diverse, and we are therefore committed to embracing diversity of thought and experience within our team.

We are looking for a Product Consultant who specialises in Records Management System (RMS) products and workflows to join our growing team in the UK; you’ll work directly with our Services, Customer Success, and Sales teams to ensure our customers are getting the most for our software systems.

This customer-facing role will be responsible for overseeing the configuration and business process analysis across the full spectrum of police forces. You’ll work on a variety of products such as Reporting, Property & Evidence Management, Investigations and Cases, and Custody Management. You’ll operate in a consultative capacity and ensure product features, workflows, and technical configurations are defined and tested for each agency and help train agencies on best practices with the Mark43 RMS product suite. You’ll help guide change management and product adoption processes to get users comfortable with the product and to drive continual value in our core offerings. This position requires at least 50% travel to our customer sites.

What You'll Do:

  • Establish and oversee RMS implementation processes, best practices, and clearly define roles for successful customer delivery and maintenance.
  • Manage end-to-end testing for defined product workstreams, integrations, and hardware, coordinating closely with stakeholders on change management.
  • Collaborate with training and marketing teams to ensure seamless deployment and understanding of new features, while gathering feedback to inform product priorities.
  • Support growth by assessing customer workflows, and work with project managers to align on key metrics, project risks, staffing, and budget needs.
  • Partner with the Training team to continuously update and improve training materials for an exceptional customer experience.

Who You Are:

  • 2–5 years of experience as a product consultant or in public safety, with hands-on involvement in planning, delivery, and training of RMS, Case, Custody or Command and Control systems.
  • Strong communication and change management skills, able to create workflows that meet customer objectives and build user buy-in.
  • Proficient in Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with the ability to learn new technologies and adapt them for diverse user needs.
  • Commitment to diversity and inclusion, with excellent interpersonal, multitasking, and proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft products.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

People who thrive on our team also tend to share the following characteristics

  • HUMBLE, OPEN, AND CURIOUS. You recognize there are numerous ways to solve a problem or implement a strategy. You gain various perspectives and consider the impact on the customer and other teams before making a decision. You also promote team diversity and diversity of thought.
  • ATTENTIVE, ACTIVE LISTENERS. You’re interested in what others have to say and illustrate your interest with your actions. You listen with empathy and ask follow up questions to determine what your team and customers would like to achieve. You are comfortable with conflict because conflict provides an opportunity to help solve problems.
  • ENTHUSIASTIC COLLABORATORS. You understand that the best outcomes are achieved through shared ownership, and you seek to spread knowledge and expand participation rather than restrict it. As a Lead, you need to work cross-functionally to achieve successful outcomes for your team and customers.
  • ULTIMATE TEAM PLAYER. You focus more on team and customer success than personal achievements. You understand that each team within the Deployments team works hand-in-hand to provide the best customer experience possible and you might have to pitch in to help other team members.
  • COMFORTABLE WITH UNCERTAINTY. You know that sometimes problems and situations can’t be simplified or fully understood; you know where to find information to help bring clarity to a situation, but you also understand that you won’t always have all the information when making decisions. You invite change and help your team and customers navigate change.
