The Reverse Logistics Analyst is responsible for managing inquiries regarding product disposition for all US customer orders in accordance with Church and Dwight performance standards through sound decision making. The Analyst will be the point person for all Disposition related processes and will be the liaison between cross-functional areas.

Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities   

  • Manage disposition requests including RPA/BOT process (automated) and email inquiries in accordance with Church and Dwight performance standards

  • Leveraging department SOPs and sound business sense, make decisions about product returns and destruction to minimize C&D liability, protect product and brand integrity, and deliver on customer demands

  • Exception-based proactive communication and problem solving to minimize C&D financial losses

  • Own Dispositions related KPI and metrics (single point contact to drive change across all cross functional teams)

  • Manage Returns BOT process for efficiencies, error management, and business enhancements, including new development and testing

  • Collaboration with cross functional key stakeholders – Finance, IT, Warehouse, Transportation, Carriers, Quality team

  • Influence the Distribution Centers and Packaging teams to drive change in product packaging and processes, leading to reduced incidences of damage claims

  • Update training guide/manual and relevant SOPs as needed

  • Develop regular reports to be shared with cross-functional teams and Leadership to assist in identifying trends across product lines, carriers, customers or facilities

Education and Experience                                                          

  • Associates degree required, Bachelors preferred

  • 2+ years of Logistics or equivalent experience

  • CPG experience preferred

Skills and Competencies

  • Intermediate knowledge of SAP

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel preferred

  • The ability to be well organized and handle multiple priorities in a fast paced and team-oriented environment

  • Knowledge of how RPA works is a plus

  • Knowledge of Power BI is a plus

  • Intermediate analytical skills required
