Reuters is seeking a talented and experienced Media Sales Support Representative to join our Sales Support team in Gdansk. The Media Sales Support Representative role is accountable for supporting the Reuters Sales organization on general sales-related matters, business policy and procedural issues.

About the Role:

As our Sales Support Representative, you will:

Sales and Account Management Support:

  • Serve as the primary resource for sales and account management teams to understand content/product offerings and assist in problem-solving.
  • Permission prospective clients for trials and manage subscription requests.
  • Engage with the Commercial Policy team to support contract fulfillment and compliance.

Client Data and Order Management:

  • Maintain and update client data, including contacts, addresses, and service changes, in relevant systems.
  • Input billing information and ensure pipeline accuracy to support monthly forecast processes.
  • Escalate and follow up on client billing and invoicing issues.
  • Create Media plans on an ad-hoc basis within Placements IO

Administrative and Global Support:

  • Support administrative tasks related to order fulfillment, including new sales, cancellations, and renewals.
  • Assist CRM specialist with the User Acceptance Testing process for Sales Processes
  • Assist CRM specialist with administrative functions in CRM and OMS, including data uploads.
  • Train and interact with customers to provide analytics and usage insights.

Customer Administration and Expansion:

  • Manage customer subscriptions and oversee the onboarding of new customers, utilizing Salesforce and Zuora.
  • Handle complex client queries, arrange escalations, and refine processes for future improvements.
  • Collaborate with collections to minimize debtor days and mitigate non-payment issues.

Sales Support and Campaign Coordination:

  • Coordinate responses to website inquiries and general sales queries.
  • Oversee email campaigns, compile quarterly commission reports, and set up new trial categories.
  • Liaise with external partners to enhance and beta test website functionalities.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

  • Perform regular quality checks and data cleansing to maintain compliance standards.
  • Ensure services meet audit requirements and proactively revise relevant reports to support finance queries.

Process Improvement:

  • Actively identify opportunities for process improvement within sales support and customer administration functions.
  • Be vocal in suggesting and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute improvement plans

About You
You're a fit for the role of Sales Support Representative if your background includes:

  • Experience in sales support or customer administration.
  • Organizational, prioritization, attention to detail and high degree of accuracy is a must.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  • Language skills: Fluent in English
  • Excellent problem-solving and Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply knowledge and creativity to resolve standard and complex client issues
  • Strong communication skills (written, oral, presentation)
  • Customer-oriented
  • Comfort with working in a complex and dynamic environment, juggling multiple priorities, interacting with people at different levels of the organization and across multiple functions.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and make appropriate decisions based on knowledge of business objectives
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
  • Knowledge of CRM systems such as Salesforce and billing systems like Zuora or SAP would be a plus.
