Job Description:

SUMMARY: Responsible for ensuring that the operations and procedures of the Maintenance Department are efficient and productive in completing assigned projects and duties and in compliance with Company standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Interacts effectively with the public and Team Members. Perform excellent customer service at all time. Responsible for ensuring all general maintenance and repair of minor problems throughout the Casino complex are promptly and correctly done and completed as directed by immediate supervisor. Responsible for training and supervising the Maintenance Engineers. Ensures adherence to all OSHA regulations and internal safety policies and procedures. Operates company vehicles as required. Coordinates preventive maintenance on equipment as assigned. Responsible for ensuring that all general maintenance and repairs of minor problems throughout the property are promptly and correctly done. Responsible for implementing Engineering Safety programs and to ensure all team members and customers are provided a safe, hazard free environment. Conducts daily inspections of property and project areas to ensure efficient and safe operations plus trouble shoot any problems or breakdowns. May be used as an usher as needed by management for events. Any reasonable request made by management. Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Directly Supervises all Maintenance Engineers and implements and enforces department procedures. Carries out Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or GED required and at least two to four years of Maintenance Engineering experience required. Minimum of Two years experience in a mechanical field must be able to read blueprints. SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required. Must have strong skills in Electrical, HVAC, and Building Maintenance work, Kitchen equipment and Building improvements, will be required to use FMX Maintenance work order software, Microsoft Outlook 2000 and other window-based programs. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a Team Member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to risk of electrical shock and radiation, fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals. The Team Member occasionally works in high places or confined spaces, and in outside weather conditions with exposure to humid, hot and cold temperatures. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When on the casino floor or mechanical rooms, the noise level increases to loud. The Team Member will be exposed to a smoke-filled environment when on the casino floor.
