Job Summary:

The Senior Cash Management Specialist is responsible for executing and optimizing cash application processes to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial operations. This role requires a strong understanding of customer financial environments, remittance processing, and fraud prevention. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of supporting cross-functional teams while driving operational excellence in cash management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of daily cash application tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Provide technical and operational support to service representatives, sales teams, and account managers regarding cash application services.
• Analyze customer business environments to offer strategic guidance on cash application processes and improvements.
• Resolve discrepancies in payment processing and remittance reconciliation.
• Apply existing cash application procedures and contribute to process enhancements.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless integration of cash management systems and tools.
• Support fraud detection efforts and contribute to prevention strategies through monitoring and escalation procedures.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Intermediate / Fluent English

Skills:

Finance and Accounting:

• Understands financial reporting and accounting principles.
• Contributing to accurate reconciliation and compliance.

• Analyze operational challenges.
• Apply sound judgment to resolve issues and improve processes.

• Deliver tailored cash management solutions.

Fraud Detection & Prevention:

• Identify potential fraud risks
• Apply tools and procedures to prevent and escalate suspicious activity.

Top Candidates also have:

• Expert in cash management, treasury operations, or accounts receivable.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), Excel, and cash application platforms.
• Knowledge implementing or optimizing cash application systems and automation tools
• Familiarity with global payment formats (e.g., ACH, SWIFT, wire transfers)
• Proven track record in improving cash flow accuracy and reducing unapplied cash
