The Energy Research Institute @ NTU (ERI@N) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Formulate and develop solutions to optimization problems on the topic of electric vehicle charging for vehicle fleets with considerations for demand-supply balance, impact on batteries, vehicle-to-grid interactions, etc.

• Collaborate closely with our partner ITB to apply solutions in a local context, using data available with ITB.

• Contribute to the management of the project, including supervision of research staff and handling the collaboration with ITB.

Job Requirements: 

• PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent disciplines

• Background in the application and development of novel optimization techniques, including reinforcement learning

• Background in the modeling of energy management systems (e.g., buildings, batteries, smart grids, etc.)
