About you and this role

Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Computer Service Analyst located in Midland, MI.

As the Computer Service Analyst you will be part of a team managing the company’s global computer fleet.  The Computer Service team is responsible for the procurement, support, asset management and disposal of our desktops and laptops in every country where our employees and contractors work. 

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities within the Computer Service offering to improve the client experience through the examination of escalations, customer satisfaction surveys, and research for opportunities.   
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts and meet or exceed client satisfaction goals, Operating Level Agreements (OLA), and Service Level Agreements (SLA). 
  • Assist in curating the service catalog and identifying new additions that meet the requirements of our clients.
  • Partner with stakeholders (Manufacturing & Engineering, Finance, Research & Development, Field Techs, Service Desk Agents and Suppliers) to evaluate new computer and accessories hardware models and manage addition of new generations to the catalog through testing and benchmarking.
  • Work with our key suppliers and our original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to improve quality of service and address escalations in our service offering. 
  • Manage asset and configuration records for computer systems to ensure data accuracy.
  • Develop and implement procedures and automation for tracking company assets to oversee quality control throughout their lifecycles, following IT Asset Management practices.
  • Lead regular audits and maintain an accurate inventory of computer assets and ensure these are compliant with information security and accounting requirements.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Bachelor degree in IT discipline preferred OR a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience OR relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E6 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant ranking.
  • A minimum of 2 years of IT experience.
  • A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States.  No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.

​Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency in building dashboards and reports in analysis tools like Power BI or a related product.
