JR64392 Business Continuity and Resilience Program Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Continuity and Resilience Program Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining business continuity and resilience strategies to ensure the uninterrupted operation of our semiconductor manufacturing processes. This role requires a proactive approach to risk management, crisis response, and recovery planning.

This position requires an understanding of Business Continuity Management, project management, the semiconductor industry, and strong networking skills. Knowledge of current Micron practices is helpful, but not required.

This position will require off-business hour availability and potential travel.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Implement Business Continuity Plans: Create and maintain comprehensive business continuity plans (BCPs) and disaster recovery plans (DRPs) tailored to the specific needs of our semiconductor manufacturing operations.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks.

Crisis Management: Lead the crisis management team during incidents, ensuring effective communication, coordination, and response to minimize operational disruptions.

Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on business continuity and resilience practices. Conduct regular drills and exercises to test the effectiveness of BCPs and DRPs.

Vendor and Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with key vendors and suppliers to ensure their business continuity plans align with our requirements. Assess and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and practices related to business continuity and resilience.

Continuous Improvement: Continuously review and improve business continuity and resilience strategies based on lessons learned from incidents, industry trends, and emerging threats.

Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all business continuity and resilience activities. Prepare regular reports for senior management on the status of business continuity initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or similar certification is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business continuity, risk management, or a related field, preferably within the semiconductor industry.
  • Strong knowledge of business continuity and disaster recovery principles, methodologies, and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in both Japanese and English is required.
  • As well as using business continuity software and tools.
