Job Description Summary:

This position participates in the development and implementation of lactation services which may include: clinical, rental and retail services. They are responsible for the provision of patient care through individualized consultation, telephone help line.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate's Degree (Required)RN - Registered Nurse - Ohio Board of NursingOhio Board of NursingOhio Board of Nursing

Desirable qualifications include obtaining Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC), Professional certification as International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with three years in a clinical setting.

Highly developed interpersonal relationship skills. Advanced leadership, communication and clinical skills. Thorough understanding of the principles of adult education. Strong knowledge base in physiology and pathophysiology related to breastfeeding patient. Clinical experience in perinatal areas with focus on post-partum care.
