A Brief Overview

The Food Service Worker-Retail is responsible for the preparation, service, storage, and sanitation of food and supplies.

What you will do

Prepares food items for cooking or serving and serving areas. Serves food from serving line or prepares and/or transports food for catering or patient feeding trays. Responsible for decisions concerning food quality and customer satisfaction. 40%

Follows proper sanitation procedures and techniques when handling food. Follows cleaning manual to sanitize any equipment used and rotate cleaning food storage areas. 40%
Communicates with managers, food service workers, and all customers of Terrace Dining. May assist in training new employees concerning hot and cold food procedures and/or sanitation of the responsible area. May deliver and service catered functions. 20%

Qualifications

High School Diploma / GED General Preferred and
