This position is viewed as a strategic finance business partner to the Managing Director of Vietnam, which will deliver strategies and financial commitments for the business in Vietnam.  This position is accountable for driving profitable and sustainable growth while ensuring proper controls and governance are in place. This includes supporting strategic growth initiatives, resource allocation and execution.

Reporting to this role is between 1 – 3 Finance Associates with support from other Finance functions such as Controllership, Shared Services (CBS), and Tax/Treasury.


Responsibilities:

  • Drive and deliver financial and business objectives through close partnership with MD/GMs and other functional leaders
  • Establish and execute long-term financial strategies for the region, including financial planning, cost reduction strategies, investment prioritization and driving commercial growth & value management.
  • Build best teams and improve succession pipeline at all levels of the finance organization
  • Monitor and direct implementation of strategic business plans and tactical objectives
  • Manage and prioritize capital requests and drive working capital improvement to meet or exceed free cash flow commitments
  • Monitor product costs, pricing, factory/material productivity, and expenses
  • Lead financial planning and monitoring of program and product developments
  • Manage financial compliance including Sarbanes-Oxley testing and Audit/ACA requirement and driving an overall mindset focused on compliance

Education

  • Bachelors / Master's degree in Finance or Accounting with 8+ years of related experience.

Experience/Qualifications

  • Experience in progressive accounting, financial reporting and planning
  • Ability to operate across organization boundaries and drive results in a matrixed organization
  • Strong leadership, organizational and people development skills
  • Proven business partnership experience, including driving change and meeting finical objectives in a dynamic environment
  • International finance experience in a large multi-national organization and/or matrixed organization
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Forward thinking, strategic and execution oriented
  • Work and interface well with various organizations and personnel at all levels
