We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, passionate and skilled Technical Lead to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is someone who has extensive experience in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Architecture and Cloud technologies like GCP or Azure. We are seeking someone with exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to mentor junior developers. Previous experience within the healthcare industry will be a significant advantage.
What You’ll Do:
Deliver technical leadership on sizeable projects involving monolithic architecture.
Mentor other developers in the team fostering an environment of continuous learning.
Develop high-quality software solutions using Java/Spring/Hibernate/Cloud technologies.
Lead initiatives concerned with complex enhancements of existing applications or creation of new ones.
Participate in code review sessions ensuring best practices are upheld
Be proactive in identifying impending problems early during any application's SDLC.
What you Bring:
Progressive experience as a Software Developer specialized in Java related technologies
Expertise with cloud-based architectures (GCP/Azure) is essential
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
Strong knowledge about Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Excellent problem-solving skills combined with good communication capabilities for effective collaboration across various stakeholders
Prepared to work on legacy systems involving monolithic architectures
Leading the team that designs and develops sustainable software solutions based on industry health standards like CPHA, HL7 and FHIR frameworks
Experience with Canadian provincial healthcare information systems, such as PharmaNet, Netcare, DIS, and DPIN are highly desired.
