Imaging Scheduler (Part-Time)

Status: Part-Time (20 hours per week)
Pay Range: $18.93 – $27.45 per hour (dependent upon experience)
Schedule:

• Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Opportunity to pick up additional shifts Monday–Friday between 7:00 AM–5:30 PM or 7:30 AM–6:00 PM

Job Description Summary

Park City Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused Imaging Scheduler to support our Radiology team. In this critical role, you will be the connection between patients, physician offices, and imaging caregivers—ensuring exams are scheduled accurately, patients are well-prepared, and communication flows smoothly across departments.

Essential Functions

• Schedule patient imaging examinations and provide clear instructions regarding exam preparation and timelines
• Coordinate emergency and add-on exams with technical staff and radiologists
• Prioritize patient exams and coordinate multiple examinations with other departments as needed
• Provide patients and physician offices with information regarding exam content, preparation requirements, and scheduling details
• Act as a liaison between physician offices and the imaging department to resolve issues related to medical necessity, exam prep, or required documentation
• Answer incoming department calls and route them to appropriate personnel in a professional and timely manner

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to answer and route telephone calls efficiently
• Scheduling and coordination experience
• Data entry and computer proficiency
• Understanding of medical terminology
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment
• Familiarity with radiology workflows and physician office coordination
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Qualifications

Required:

• Experience using computers in an office setting or performing data entry
• Demonstrated customer service experience

Preferred:

• Medical terminology training or experience
• Prior experience in a Radiology or Imaging setting
• Bilingual skills
