The Lead, Paid Media & Digital Marketing in Western Europe is a forward-
thinker with a deep understanding of the consumer, their lifestyle, how
they engage/shop online, and how Converse can best serve them.
They will combine consumer insights and data, leveraging the creative
process & a deep
understanding of digital consumer journeys to tell the right stories in the
right places at the right time to cut-through. Leading a team of Working
with a team specialised marketeers to deliver on Brand and Business
objectives.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

You will champion and elevate the Converse Brand & Products in paid
Media Environments with a focus on digital serving our direct consumers
and helping to fueling and grow our digital ecosystem. Drive cross-
functional connectivity across the organization teams, build full funnel
marketing plans and oversee day-to day operations to bring best-in-class
brand and commerce experiences to life for our consumer.

Depending on the evolving needs of the role, you may also be required to
develop an understanding of content creation strategies for platforms like
TikTok and Instagram, as well as the dynamics of influencer marketing.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead Seasonal Planning: elevating Converse priorities the brand’s
purpose and values across all consumer digital/paid media touchpoints,
delivering value and revenue growth for Converse.com
• Drive: the regional digital and paid media marketing strategy in
conjunction with the IDM Director, delivering end to end consumer
journeys from concept map to execution and evaluation. Including Brand
awareness campaigns, seasonal product storytelling,
performance marketing and consumer acquisition/membership
• Collaborate: across the Converse Brand and Digital Direct team,
targeting new and existing consumers, growing and serving them through
products and experiences to deliver against financial and operational
objectives. Collaboration across agencies and media platform partners.
Additionally, you will drive virtual teams consisting of country, Geo &
Global partners, influencing decisions upstream and downstream within
projects.
• Plan, Implement, Review & Optimise: Work with the IDM Director to plan
overall yearly
seasonal calendar approach, digital budget, and deliverables. Help set and
deliver on clear critical metrics, optimize in-season to ensure those
metrics are hit to drive both brand and business results as well as
consumer acquisition/growth (from NOW to NEXT).
• Set the future: leverage industry learnings and relationships to push the
brand forward
through a creative and experimental digital agenda that inspires a digital
first organization. Make recommendations and be fully versed on
emerging platforms, features, and opportunities. Maintaining a thorough
understanding of trends in digital marketing, technology, sneaker culture,
fashion and eCommerce

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will be working closely with the Integrated Digital Marketing team, a
key arm of the Converse Western Europe Marketing team and will be
reporting into the Integrated Digital Marketing Director. You will have close
connections and work with the chosen Converse media agency.

Additionally, you will be an extended part of the European Digital Direct
team, working very closely with the Experience, CRM, Analytics &
Merchandising functions to ensure consistent, orchestrated & effective
consumer-journeys with converse.com elevated as the ultimate Converse
shopping destination.

You will also partner with Global Digital, Geo brand creative, Geo brand
management and Key City teams to build impactful paid media marketing
plans, ensure a consistent and pioneering brand voice cuts-through, and
we have consumer-right messaging across all areas of the funnel.

The role is based in Converse EHQ, Hilversum, The Netherlands.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Demonstrated success in managing paid media campaigns across
multiple digital platforms (e.g., TikTok, Google Ads, Instagram). Provide
specific examples of campaigns and their results.
• Experience in executing end-to-end marketing campaigns, from initial
concept to final
analysis. Showcase projects where you oversaw all stages including
planning, execution, and performance evaluation.
• Track record of project managing marketing initiatives from conception
to completion.
Include examples of coordinating with diverse teams and external
partners.
• Tangible experience in optimizing campaign performance using data
analysis and KPI
interpretation. Describe instances of using insights to improve campaign
outcomes.
• Evidence of staying current with youth culture and digital trends.
Showcase campaigns or
initiatives that successfully engaged younger demographics.
• Experience in leading relationships with agencies and external suppliers.
• Demonstrated ability to maximize marketing impact within budget
constraints. Provide
examples of creative solutions that led to measurable results.
• Experience in managing full funnel marketing budgets. Highlight
campaigns that achieved
strong ROI, regardless of budget size.
