About the role:
The Senior Manager, Sales Leadership & Strategy is responsible for driving the enablement programs and effectiveness of our sales leaders.  We’re seeking a change agent to join our team and lead content creation from concept to delivery, in the form of programs and events that will improve sales leader efficiency and effectiveness leading to a higher performing sales and revenue organization.

About the team:  
As a proven leader, you will work across the Global FIS Sales Organization to create a culture of high-performance and growth, building programs that create accountability for performance management at every level of the organization, increasing seller productivity. In addition, you will further develop a sales leadership program and curriculum which instils coaching at it’s core, focused upon maximizing the potential of our Sales & Revenue organization.

What you will be doing:

As the leader of programming and enablement of the global Sales and Revenue leadership team, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate, plan content for and help deliver global sales leader workshops and annual leadership meeting in coordination with VP, Global Sales Leadership Performance and members of the Global Sales Learning team.
  • Own the execution and improvement of onboarding for sales leaders globally empowering them for success.
  • Own the process for monthly and quarterly tracking of sales performance improvement including KPI reporting and analysis of data trends to identify areas of opportunity and targeted training recommendations.
  • Closely partner with Sales Performance Office colleagues and Global Sales Learning to create bespoke curricula according to specific sales leader cohort needs to address skill gaps within the sales organization along with targeted, actionable plans to address those gaps.
  • Create additional content for and maintain global sales leadership playbook.
  • Work closely with internal functional partners across business segments, Global Sales Learning and Sales Performance Office to clearly showcase and effectively train on Leading the FIS Way
  • Stay current on leadership coaching trends and engagement best practices

What you will need:

The ideal candidate is preferred to have direct experience with sales and sales leadership having experience selling to a variety of customer types.   

  • 5-10 years of experience in Sales and/or Sales Leadership
  • 3+ years of experience working in influence-based roles within large, matrixed organizations and working cross functionally.
  • Experience in B2B sales leadership within the Fintech, Financial Services or Payments industry.
  • Experience in driving growth through strategic program management.
  • Strong understanding and experience of sales enablement content, tools and training.
  • Strong analytical skills: ability to work with data and create presentations that clearly convey a story.
  • Ability to be a thought leader to provide big picture thinking.
  • Be resourceful inside and outside of the organization to creatively solve problems as they arise.
  • Strong executive presence, communication and leading through influence skills.
  • Methodical and organized, able to effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent diplomatic interpersonal skills; proven track record of building and fostering strong relationships and establishing credibility with clients as well as internal teams
