Job Summary: Accenture is building a new global high capacity, high performing core backbone. There is a requirement to build a new global operational support team to manage the network on a day to day basis. We are looking for highly motivated individuals to work in this demanding environment. The successful candidate will form part of a core team accountable for the successful day to day management and maintenance of the WAN environment. Delivering and establishing projects related network implementation for multiple clients. Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Monitor, troubleshoot, and escalate production problems per operations processes, affecting the global MPLS network, Cloud and systems infrastructure 2. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues of network devices including cloud components. 3. Troubleshoot QoS related issues on the WAN. 4. Implement change requests as per business needs on Cisco routers, switches, AWS and Azure WAN cloud. 5. Work with the vendor\product in delivery of data network service, hardware and software to agreed service levels. 6. Supervising responsibilities including interviewing and training/coaching team members. 7. Act as internal escalation source in case team members need assistance. 8. Provide operational support for WAN in a multi-shift 7 x 24 x 365 Operations Center 9. Keep up to date with new products and services that are supported by GNOC. 10. Handling and Escalating highly impacting operational issues to upper Management and/or 3rd party vendor escalation Professional & Technical Skills: 1. Strong communication and interpersonal skills including an ability to convey technical information using non-technical language 2. Hands-on experience troubleshooting Cisco routers, Catalyst and IOS switches (9000 series, Nexus series, 65xx, 45xx, and 35xx series). 3. Knowledgeable in the following data circuit technologies – ATM, DSL, Frame Relay, Ethernet, ISDN, POS 4. Expert knowledge in enterprise-level networking with knowledge in TCP/IP, Routing Protocols (OSPF and BGPv4, etc.). Specific knowledge of BGP, OSPF and IP protocols in an MPLS Environment. 5. Experience working on CoS, QoS, WRED and related quality of service parameters. 6. Good understanding of high availability fundamentals (HSRP and VRRP) 7. Hands-on experience of LAN switching technologies: STP, Trunking, Etherchannel 8. Knowledge of VPN technologies and IPSec and GRE protocols. 9. Understanding of network protocols like FTP, TFTP, NTP, SNMP, DNS, DHCP 10. Organizational and problem-solving skills 11. Amazon ( AWS) /Azure Cloud – Deployment & Operational support of enterprise AWS /AZURE & Google cloud setups. 12. Network Automation skills ( Python, Ansible or any other scripting language) Additional Information: 1. Customer service skills and client focus 2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills including an ability to convey technical information using non-technical language 3. The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in Information Technology Operations or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions. 4. Strong verbal and written communication skills Educational Qualification: BE, MCA equivalent or above Work Experience: 5-9 years relevant experience in a similar capacity with a large organization
