As a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), you will play a hands-on, influential role in how people work and grow at Associated Electric Cooperative. You’ll work side-by-side with leaders and employees, tackling real workforce challenges—from hiring and performance to employee relations and culture. If you enjoy variety, problem-solving, and having a seat at the table while still rolling up your sleeves, this role offers meaningful impact and day-to-day work that never feels routine.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with leaders on strategic staffing, recruiting, onboarding, and workforce planning
• Coach leaders through performance management, employee relations, and complex employee issues
• Lead HR initiatives, investigations, and compliance efforts that strengthen culture and trust
• Understand, navigate, and apply Company policies and the terms of a Collective Bargaining Agreement

What You’ll Bring

• Experience as an HR generalist or business partner supporting leaders and employees
• Strong judgment, communication skills, and confidence handling sensitive situations
• Knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements
