Are you ready to make a difference? Join the WellStar Enterprise Support Team (WEST) in our Float Pool! This exciting opportunity allows you to work across various facilities based on staffing needs, utilizing your unique skills to provide exceptional patient care wherever you’re needed most.

Patient Assessment:
Team up with physicians to assess and continually evaluate treatment programs, goals, and discharge plans related to speech, language, cognition, voice, and swallowing.
Collaborate with patients and families to establish realistic care plans.
Treatment Planning and Care Provision:
Implement customized treatment plans and choose engaging activities to help patients reach their goals.
Revise goals with input from patients and families, ensuring ongoing education and support.
Provide discharge instructions and connect patients with community resources as needed.
Documentation:
Maintain clear documentation of evaluations and treatment plans according to departmental guidelines.
Record each session accurately and complete all required paperwork promptly.
General Requirements:
Uphold the highest ethical standards, demonstrating integrity and honesty.
Embrace diversity and work collaboratively within a team.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to attendance policies.
Communicate effectively with team members and participate in meetings and training sessions.

Follow infection prevention protocols diligently.
Customer Service:
Lead the industry in vision, technology, and exceptional customer service.
Apply AIDET principles consistently to enhance patient experiences.
Foster a positive environment for both patients and colleagues, promoting teamwork and respect.
Implement service recovery principles effectively.
Professional Development:
Engage in ongoing professional development and complete all mandatory educational requirements.
Participate in the training of new employees and maintain licensure requirements.
Education:
Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program required.
Licenses/Certifications:
Speech Language Pathologist license required upon hire.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA required.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Skills:
Strong communication skills, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer proficiency.
