Our exciting opportunity

The Parts & Services Division as part of Business Area Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions drives the aftermarket business keeping customers’ fleet on track with services, solutions, and parts. We are now recruiting for a Lifecycle Extension Specialist for the Division. The position is permanent and based in Lyon, France.

About your role
As Lifecycle Extension Specialist, you are responsible for lifecycle extension business across all equipment types. You support Sales Area’s in responding to their customer needs for rebuilding and upgrading their existing fleet, taking care of product revenue and profitability on a global level.  You will promote and update the existing solution offering as well as introduce new solutions to the market. As part of your responsibilities you will also provide 2nd line support in custom or complicated commercial offers. You work with several stakeholders such as engineering, supply chain, technical support and product line management.

About your background and what we find important

You have B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Engineering or equivalent studies and some experience in engineering, life cycle management and/or sales support. Experience in heavy machinery and/or mining and construction business is highly valued. You take ownership on actions and have a strong focus on aftermarket business and technical sales. You can clearly and fluently express your solutions and ideas to our internal or external customers and you communicate fluently in English and in French. You can create strong relationship with stakeholders and you are eager to learn new things and systems. You demonstrate very high service attitude even under stress and cope with wide variety of customer demands.
