The Opportunity:
Join our dynamic Human Resources (HR) team at Embry-Riddle as a Compensation and Data Analyst. In this crucial role, you will provide analytical support to facilitate informed decision-making regarding various compensation and administrative tasks.
This position will provide analytical services to the HR Department by assisting in decision-making of a variety of compensation and administrative tasks such as but not limited to: one-time/reoccurring payments, compensation reviews, and data analysis. This position will support all functions of Human Resources relating to data requests, including but not limited to data availability, feasibility of requests, and ad-hoc reports and will facilitate the use of reporting tools and database technology across the University to ensure staff effectiveness and operational excellence.
Responsibilities include the following:
Responsible for evaluating and approving fair and equitable one-time/reoccurring payments while maintaining compliance with university guidelines and local, state, and federal regulations.
Perform compensation reviews to ensure fair and equitable base compensation in alignment with university strategic goals, FLSA requirements, and state/municipality minimum wages.
Responsible for ongoing data architecture processes and governance. Assist in the implementation of systems and system updates, testing, and validating data and software.
Manage or oversee the completion of multiple salary surveys and governmental reporting including but not limited to: CUPA Surveys and Affirmative Action Plan.
Assist with maintenance of Affirmative Action Plan and contribute to the University and departmental diversity efforts by sharing information from AAP and coordinating with recruiting team.
Perform extraction, import, and export of data in various database applications into HRM system, Workday.
Responsible for internal/external research and data support requests; may create reports and pull/share data from the system while maintaining appropriate confidentiality.
Assist in the design, analysis, and update of salary structures.
Audit data on a regular basis to ensure data integrity.
Perform data reconciliation to identify anomalies, errors, or areas for enhancement/improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree: Human Resources, Business, or data analytics is required.
At least two years of experience in data analytics is preferred, preferably within HR or Compensation areas.
Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for accuracy
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and strong knowledge of various reporting and data analytics tools.
Understanding of various state and federal compensation regulations is preferred.
Comfortable working in an environment that is heavily regulated and with a particular focus on compliance.
Experience with Workday is preferred.
