Van Drunen Farms/FutureCeuticals is a large, fast-growing, ingredient supplier to the world’s best food and dietary supplement companies, headquartered roughly fifty miles south of Chicago.  We farm (primarily culinary herbs) and process fruit, vegetables, and grains sourced from our own farms and all over the world, across multiple plants near Chicago and across the world.  We also innovate, research, and patent dietary inventions at the cutting edge of human health.

What You’ll Do

• Support a close-knit Chicago Loop-based Legal team that handles the company’s legal, regulatory, and intellectual property matters and sits at the center of many of FutureCeuticals’ most important business objectives.
• Assist with discrete legal projects and initiatives, including contracts, corporate records, correspondence, and regulatory submissions (domestic and international).
• Manage legal records, templates, policies, and confidential documentation.
• Support administration of our automated contract lifecycle system (Ironclad), including intake, routing, approvals, and archiving.
• Compile and organize departmental data related to department functions, including budgets and expenses.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience supporting attorneys/legal departments in a paralegal or legal support role.
• Ability to take initiative and ownership over projects, identify issues, and problem-solve, with a proactive, self-starter mindset.
• Strong organizational and project management skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and play a key role within a dynamic, team-based environment.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Bachelor’s degree required.
