Job Description

Reporting to the Chief of Staff and allocated to Network refresh program manager, and working in Katowice, Poland you will plan and manage program end-to-end OPEX and CAPEX expenditures, from the planning to the project completion. You're expected to perform technical analysis to determine present (actuals) and future (forecast) financial performance; to gather and summarize recommendations for financial plans, purchase activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts; directly implement and control CAPEX funding process, allocation and expenses, overseeing spends on monthly basis. Support program management with financial liaison, troubleshooting, root cause determination and recommendations when the execution deviates the plan. Ensure effective collaboration and coordination with Rockwell Automation project members, IT leadership and Finance through monthly reporting.

Your Responsibilities - you will do:

  • Engage with IT Finance team to work across CAPEX funding tasks
  • Develop the required financial models to track equipment purchases, decommissions, technology licensing agreements, depreciation and other items related to a global network improvement effort. The outcome of this effort is the complete capital management of all assets from network design to decommission.
  • In alignment with our telecommunications partners, develop the financial mechanics to track spend, forecast changes, and identify areas where we can control costs. This work will also partner in adopting a model to financially document enhancement approvals and justifications.
  • Support Program manager providing financial performance and feed-back to deliver key program performance metrics
  • Produce monthly and quarterly forecasting packages which convey a thorough understanding of the current variance drivers and their potential impact on the future project trajectory.
  • Engage with IT leadership and Finance to guide annual operating plan adjustments
  • Attend program meetings to report progress as demanded

The Essentials - you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related.
  • Legal authorization to work within the region where you are hired (permission to stay and work in Poland).
  • Fluent English. English spoken will be your primary language on daily work
  • Experienced in managing complex IT environment and project's schedule in IT for large organizations
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working in infrastructure/network projects and/or network operations
  • Ability to support your peers and team members on troubleshooting, and root cause determination when the execution deviates the plan

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Demonstrated ability to balance competing requirements and interests, with a focus on top priorities, finding opportunities to achieve win-win or obtain acceptance/agreement to compromise.
  • Ability to successfully work across organizational boundaries, including strong relationship management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including speaking in front of small and large groups and ability to write & maintain technical documentation.
