Lead Housekeeping Aide - Cornell Hospital - Full Time - Day Shift

This role performs tasks to clean and maintain assigned work area to ensure sanitary, neat, and attractive conditions, in accordance with established procedure. Maintain a culture of compassion, caring, warmth and support within our hospital. Support the team by providing training and work direction for Housekeeping Aides.  Assist Supervisors with scheduling and personnel actions.  Spend quality time and build solid relationships with patients and their families. Go above and beyond for patients to deliver superior customer service and ensure their comfort and safety at all times. 

This is a full time position, working 8:00am-4:00pm, including weekends/holidays.

Preferred Criteria

• Qualified candidates have extensive customer service experience and a desire to Put Patients First

• Experience in the hotel, restaurant or retail industry

Required Criteria

• High school diploma or GED

• Three to five years of progressive job related experience
