Maintains a safe working environment by following Airgas/Red-D-Arc’s health and safety guidelines.
Connects customers to Airgas and RDA to provide complete value through collaboration
Develops and implements sales growth strategies with both Red-D-Arc direct customers and via the Airgas sales channel, including developing product training programs.
Works directly with both Red-D-Arc and Airgas sales teams, including the Advanced Fabrication team and National / Strategic Account managers, promoting rental, lease and sale of Specialty products via training, meetings and customer visits.
Supports regional WPS’s with training and more involved projects. Integrates the specialty strategic sales plan into the districts
Works with the Director of Specialty Products to develop successful strategic sales campaigns and product specific marketing programs.
Uses appropriate social media channels such as LinkedIn to promote Specialty products.
Stays abreast of current market trends. Identifies new areas of opportunity to expand the Specialty product line.
Participates in product development and enhancements in a team environment utilizing feedback from all sources.
Participates in meetings with primary suppliers.
Meets or exceeds annual sales & profitability budget, helps set and push regional sales targets.
Maintains accurate and timely reports, including business plans and regional forecasts.
Performs other related duties as required.

Education:
Post secondary education equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing or the equivalent work experience required.
Experience:
Minimum of two years related working experience in working with orbital welding, induction or resistance heating, or blasting products.
Background in selling through industrial distribution (experience selling to Airgas is ideal but not a requirement).
Strong working knowledge of welding processes, orbital welding, heat treating, and dry ice blasting systems.
