Who You’ll Work With:

AllianceBernstein is seeking a Relationship Manager to join the RIA/Bank-Trust team within the US Strategic Relationship Group. The RIA/Bank-Trust team is responsible for developing the strategy and execution plan for distributing the firm’s investment management capabilities through the RIA and Bank-Trust channels. The primary responsibility in this regional sales role is to increase distribution of AllianceBernstein strategies through Registered Investment Advisers, Bank-Trusts and Multi-Family Offices within the assigned territory. The position is responsible for building strong relationships with key decision makers, ensuring that AllianceBernstein develops a strong presence that will assist in raising revenue.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop & manage productive relationships with decision makers across assigned firms that result in a greater partnership with AllianceBernstein and increased assets and revenue to the firm.

  • Develop a strategic plan/approach to manage the assigned territory that is aligned with the business objectives and values of the firm.

  • Be a proven team player and demonstrate the ability to work productively with internal business units including Retail Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Investment Teams, and Operations/Support Teams.

  • Collaborate & coordinate within AllianceBernstein and stay current on market trends and the competitive landscape.

  • Assist with the planning and execution of roadshows and conferences

What We’re Looking For:

The ideal candidate should have:

  • 10+ years of successful investment sales experience

  • Strong relationships with key members of RIA and/or Bank-Trusts within the assigned territory

  • Strong sales abilities are required evidenced by a track record of increasing new shelf space at both existing and prospective key accounts

  • Successful candidate will be a self-starter who can effectively operate in a highly team-oriented and collaborative environment

  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across and at all levels within an organization

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, or a similar discipline

  • Series 7 and 63  required

  • CFA, CIMA and/or CAIA preferred

  • Must be located in the Western Division

In accordance with applicable law, the minimum and maximum base annual salary for this role is as follows:

Base Salary: $200,000

Actual base salaries may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base salary is just one component of total compensation at AB, which may include, depending on eligibility, commissions, year-end incentive compensation, short- and long-term incentives and Department-specific awards.
