About the role

As an Innovation Strategy Governance Program Manager, you’ll be a key member of our Global Innovation Office, helping shape how Unisys innovates responsibly and at scale. In this role, you’ll focus on Responsible AI and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) governance, ensuring our innovation efforts are secure, compliant, and closely aligned with business goals.

This is a high-impact, strategic position with visibility across both technical and business teams. Rather than hands-on delivery, you’ll influence direction, connect stakeholders, and help set the standards that guide how we innovate.

What you’ll do

In this role, you will:

• Lead and coordinate complex, cross-company initiatives around Responsible AI, AI Governance, and SDLC standards
• Own and continuously evolve Unisys’ enterprise AI governance framework
• Work closely with Engineering, Platform Engineering, IT, Legal, Security, and Business Units to ensure alignment and adoption
• Promote standardized, secure, and efficient development and DevOps practices across engineering teams
• Help ensure the use of approved platforms, tools, and development environments, reducing ungoverned or “shadow” development
• Facilitate governance forums, steering committees, and cross-functional working groups
• Create and maintain clear program roadmaps, milestones, and success metrics
• Proactively identify risks, communicate potential impacts, and drive mitigation plans
• Track progress, share outcomes, and support accountability across stakeholders
• Drive change management and continuous improvement, leveraging automation and modern tooling wherever possible

You will be successful in this role if you have:

• Experience leading programs or initiatives in complex, matrixed organizations
• The ability to collaborate effectively and influence across both technical and non-technical teams
• Confidence and ease in working with senior leaders and executive stakeholders
• A solid understanding of software development processes, DevOps practices, and governance frameworks
• Familiarity with AI, data, or other emerging technologies, including associated risks and compliance considerations
• A strong sense of ownership, with a proven track record of delivering results
• The ability to manage multiple priorities while navigating ambiguity and change
• Clear and confident communication skills, with strong facilitation and stakeholder management capabilities
• Curiosity, a passion for continuous learning, and motivation to improve how things are done
