Print Category Chief of Staff

Description -

The Chief of Staff and Strategic Planning lead plays a critical role for the Print Category organization by driving meeting and planning cadence, and helps influence outcomes and maintains momentum for the organization’s strategic direction, initiatives and action plans as well as internal communications.  The Chief of Staff supports and reports to the SVP & Chief Operating Officer, HP Print.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support an effective cadence, calendaring and communication process to provide clarity and structure to the organization.
  • Support the development, coordination of effective executive-level presentation materials for Executive meetings/QBW and/or ad-hoc executive and customer-facing presentations.
  • Coordinate meeting logistics, materials and preparation activities for quarterly executive Print CEO QBWs
  • Provide support for internal communications to the organization including announcements, as well as manage the organization website and Teams channels to be an effective communication platform for the organization.
  • Work with other Print & CO Chiefs of Staff, to prepare requested materials, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders as required.
  • Manage and facilitate weekly staff meetings, help with setting priorities, and drive agenda topics and note-taking.
  • Plan and facilitate staff face-to-face meetings, quarterly All Employee Meetings and All Manager Meetings.
  • Ensure timely follow up and closure of staff action items from all above meetings.
  • Actively monitor and analyze employee and target audience feedback to enhance communication effectiveness including review of event survey responses, pulse survey data and web utilization metrics, as available.
  • Records Officer for Print Category, guiding and supporting the Record Coordinators within the organization to ensure Records Management compliance.
  • Support ad-hoc requests or business initiatives.

Capabilities and qualifications

  • Broad business and/or operational experience (10 years preferred). Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Results-oriented with demonstrated experience in managing complex programs and projects in a large, global, matrixed organization.
  • Ability to drive initiatives and PMO’s
  • Proven experience in driving change management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent ability to use presentation tools and develops clear, succinct and compelling content for executive-level presentations and communications.
  • Superior program management skills
  • Strategic thinker and thought leader with a mindset of innovation and intellectual curiosity, combines various perspectives and approaches in creative ways
  • Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments and to navigate matrixed structures to resolve complex issues

The base pay range for this role is $127,500 to $196,350 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only).  Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
