Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Attorney to join our growing team in Bangalore. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice and support to our business activities in India, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations, and managing a variety of legal matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal guidance on a broad range of issues including corporate law, contract law, labor law, intellectual property, and compliance matters.

  • Advise on legal questions around design services, IP usage and data protection.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts and agreements.

  • Support of global procurement matters.

  • Advise HR on policies, contracts, compliance and regulations.

  • Represent the company in legal and regulatory proceedings.

  • Participate in site leadership activities.

  • Develop and implement company policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.

  • Collaborate with external counsel and manage legal outsourcing when necessary.

  • Keep abreast of legislative changes that may affect the company and its affiliates.

  • Provide training to the company on legal topics, including on IP rights.

Requirements:

  • A law degree from a recognized university in India.

  • Licensed to practice law in India.

  • A minimum of 15 years of legal experience, with at least 5 years in an in-house role.

  • Strong understanding of the legal framework in India, particularly in areas relevant to corporate operations.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficient in English.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience in the technology industry is a plus.
