About the Role

This position collaborates with suppliers to ensure execution to planned orders and schedules and resolves issues with suppliers to ensure material availability for facility production. The incumbent works with the facility production schedulers and operations personnel to support facility production and point of use material availability. Ensures alignment of facility inventory accuracy and inventory systems planning parameters with the plan for every part to maintain planning integrity.

On this roll your principal task is ensured to have material in stock on time and form, according to our production requirements, be aligned with our metrics and goals using lean processes to meet costumer’s objectives.

What You Will Do

• Ensure to keep inventory available in warehouses for production lines.
• Implementing and maintaining monitoring systems to provide information on shipment status, shipped date, in transit, estimated arrival date, and actual delivery date.
• Management of optimal inventory levels.
• Create, document, and follow up on actions plans for any opportunities.

Degree Requirement :

College or university degree (Logistics Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Business Management Engineer, etc)

Decision Making and Critical Thinking:

• Ability to detect short materials and/or critical situations that impact the supply of materials and be escalated in a timely manner, decision making, questioning internal/external suppliers for the supply of materials.

Problem Solving:

• Knowledge of approaches, tools, (RCCA’s, 1pager, A3) techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving

organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to

diverse situations.

Relationship Management:

• Effective communication with suppliers and customers, detailed and clear information on critical situations, ability to communicate with all levels.

Logistics Management & Transportation - MFG:

• Administration and knowledge of logistics for land, sea and air materials, avoiding expedited shipments, determinate the best shipping plan according to our requirements.

Manufacturing Requirements Planning (MRP):

• Knowledge in SAP about the different transactions related to materials procurement, inventories, BOM, etc,
• Advanced excel level
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and inventory management, optimal levels, inventory days, etc.

Materials Handling and Management:

• Knowledge of PFEP (Packaging) to work with suppliers and Packaging Team to ensure shipments with the correct method, to avoid any quality issues regarding transportation or storage issues.

Consideration For Top Candidates:

• Knowledge of SAP system.
• Advanced- intermediate conversational English, capable of having a business conversation.
• Microsoft tools knowledge. (Advanced or expert skills)

• The primary location for this position is Acuña, Coahuila
• 100% office work
