OVERVIEW

The Barista at Alo's corporate headquarters supports the daily coffee experience for our executive team, employees, and guests. This is a craft role for someone who cares about quality, consistency, and creating a welcoming moment at the bar.

RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Daily service at the HQ coffee bar, including open, close, and flow
• Consistent, high-quality drinks across espresso, milk, and manual brew
• Cleanliness and care of equipment and the bar space
• Restocking and flagging inventory needs to the Lead Barista
• A warm, composed guest experience for everyone who comes to the bar

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of specialty coffee experience
• Strong technical skill on espresso and milk
• A service style that is friendly, professional, and steady under volume
• Comfort working in a corporate environment alongside senior leaders
• Reliability, attention to detail, and pride in the craft
• Latte art experience
• Manual brew proficiency
• Background at a respected specialty program

The base pay range for this position is $20/hr-$21/hr which represents the current range for the non-exempt position. Please note that actual pay will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
