DXC in Poland is located in two cities: Warsaw and Wroclaw.

Application Services Global Delivery Poland located in Warsaw, offers software development and maintenance services to DXC Technology customers all over the world. Poland Center focuses on Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence, Web Solutions, SAP R/3 and SAP BW implementation, Application Management, Quality Assurance & Testing, Business and Systems Analysis. We are currently looking for:

Automation Tester

Job location: Warsaw or remote

The successful candidate will work within Analytics practice and be mainly responsible for testing of a new solution delivered to one of our international customers from Consumer Products industry.

The solution is a Data & AI solution, based on Azure microservices and AKS. The solution is a Data Harmonization product with main objective to deliver harmonized data fit for use by knowledge workers and downstream applications.​

The successful candidate will work for the customer on the platform for data harmonization leveraging ETL processes. The scope of responsibilities will focus on development and execution of exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. Automation Tester will work on designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions. The successful candidate will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts).

The successful candidate will work closely with customer, project managers, technical leaders, developers and other test team members.

Responsibilities

  • Testing automation and framework development

  • Using RobotFramework to turn manual test cases into automated

  • Creating and developing a test automation environment

  • Automated Regression, Functional and Smoke Tests

  • Automation for UI, API, DB, Azure Databricks

  • Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback

  • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases

  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities

  • Design, develop and execute automation scripts

  • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs

  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved

  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs

  • Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements

  • Monitor debugging process results

  • Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts

  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

We require:

  • University degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.)

  • More than 1 year of work experience

  • Proven work experience in software development – Python

  • Good knowledge of SQL databases and scripting

  • Proven work experience in software quality assurance

  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes

  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases

  • Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing

  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools

  • Experience in Azure: AAS, Synapse, ADF

We appreciate: 

  • Knowledge of or experience in Azure Databricks

  • Experience with performance and/or security testing

  • ITIL methodology familiarity

  • Experience in working in multinational environment
