How will your ideas contribute to shaping what’s next?

As a Portfolio Program Manager – Applications, you’ll play a critical role in shaping Aurecon’s enterprise application ecosystem to be modern, human-centred, and fit-for-the-future. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy and digital execution, and is responsible for leading delivery, governance and continuous improvement across the application landscape.

You’ll help bring our IT25 Vision to life by guiding strategic investments, aligning priorities across portfolios, and enabling integrated and scalable capabilities that support Aurecon’s people, projects and clients.

Here’s how you’ll bring ideas to life:

• Provide strategic portfolio leadership across Aurecon’s enterprise applications, ensuring alignment with our Blueprint and business priorities.
• Lead complex programs spanning technology, business functions, and delivery teams using agile and product-based approaches.
• Optimise the enterprise application ecosystem through rationalisation, integration, and modernisation.
• Be a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, acting as a key contact to drive transparent decision-making and prioritisation.
• Leverage data insights, emerging trends and user feedback to shape future technology investments.
• Foster collaboration across IT, Product, and Business teams to support Aurecon’s innovation agenda.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of Project Managers, Business Analysts, and delivery professionals.

What we’re looking for:

We value people who are curious, strategic, and collaborative. You’ll bring a blend of big-picture thinking and delivery discipline, with a proven track record of driving outcomes in complex environments.

We’re looking for someone with:

• A degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years leading enterprise-wide technology programs or portfolios.
• Experience with agile delivery models, enterprise applications and cross-functional teams.
• A passion for solving complex problems and driving continuous improvement.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, particularly in matrixed organisations.
• People leadership experience, ideally leading delivery or project teams.
