Job Title: Corporate Sports & Entertainment Senior Manager

Overview of Role

The Corporate Sports and Entertainment Senior Manager is responsible for the sourcing, planning, and day to day management and delivery of the Rothschild & Co hospitality function in the UK. The role will suit candidates with broad industry knowledge and previous experience in a corporate, sporting or arts sponsorship background. 

Responsibilities

Activation of Rothschild & Co sporting, arts and membership programme in the UK, including: budgeting, approvals, ticketing and distribution, usage metrics and internal communication campaigns

Programme development: Sourcing appropriate sporting, arts and social calendar opportunities appropriate for each division of the business

Effective internal marketing and activation of hospitality programme ensuring adequate awareness and take up across the Group, including responsibility for maintenance of intranet pages and digital publishing tools

  • Produce related collateral such as internal briefings, website pages, pre-event collateral
  • Financial management: Negotiation and preparation of budget, cost management, approvals, reconciliation and internal recharging
  • Monthly and annual reporting on all spend at divisional and group level relating to hospitality and memberships
  • Data management: Centralized records, and adherence to compliance processes centralised and accurate record keeping of hospitality usage
  • Evaluation: Quarterly evaluation of hospitality programme, gauging effectiveness and usage, producing user metrics
  • CSR – engage the CSR team to align hospitality programme where relevant with CSR initiatives

Experience, Skills and Competencies Required

  • Excellent knowledge of sporting, theatrical, arts and hospitality programming, events and venues and suppliers
  • Corporate or extensive industry experience is required
  • Project management – highly organized, ability to prioritise whilst delivering multiple    projects to fixed deadlines, in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work as part of a busy and highly supportive team
  • Professional and pro-active by nature
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with colleagues and influence at all levels. 
  • Confidence to build trusted relationships with stakeholders, suppliers and service providers. The candidate will be expected to spend one day per week embedded within client facing teams 
  • Adaptable – in response to changing priorities and able to cope
  • An experienced user of Microsoft packages in particular Excel, Word, PPT and experience of digital tools and their application
