Position Summary

As the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for driving the overall sales strategy, revenue growth, and market share in the assigned segment. You will lead a high-performing sales team, manage key customer relationships, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute go-to-market strategies. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of the industry, exceptional sales acumen, and a proven track record of scaling businesses in competitive markets.

Role and Responsibilities

1. Sales Strategy Formulation and Execution

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sale and channel strategy to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share.
  • Identify new market opportunities and customer segments to drive growth.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to ensure Samsung remains ahead in the industry.

2. Revenue and Forecast Management

  • Manage the sales P&L, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts in alignment with partners and customers.
  • Optimize pricing, promotions, and value-added strategies to balance volume and profitability.

3. Key Account / Partners’ Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, distributors, and retail partners.
  • Annual and quarterly joint-business planning with strategic partners.
  • Ensure strong execution of channel sales strategies, including in retail, e-commerce

4.  Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing, product, and channel development teams to ensure aligned product launches and campaigns executions.
  • Provide feedback to product and channel teams to align Go-to-market development with market needs.
  • Actively collaborate with Retail and trade field force team for operational excellence and remove obstacles to achieve goals

5. Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a nationwide sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Foster a high-performance culture by setting clear goals, providing regular feedback, and recognizing achievements.
  • Recruit, train, and retain top talent within the sales organization.

Skills and Qualifications

Key Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 15+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in the technology consumer goods is preferred
  • Multi-faceted experience in FMCG industry is welcomed.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in highly competitive markets.
  • Industry Knowledge: Preferred to have deep understanding of the ecosystem, including consumer behavior, distribution channels, and market trends.

  • Expertise in sales strategy, account P&L management, and channel go-to-market.
  • Proficiency in data analytics to drive decision making and derive growth opportunity
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Identifies the key elements of critical organizational challenges, defines the fundamental causes in partnership with key decision makers, and provides direction and execution on cross-boundary solutions.
