Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Entry level Rotorcraft Provisioning / Spares Engineering Analyst to join the Supply Chain Engineering team in support of the H-47 Chinook, V-22 Osprey, MH-139 Grey Wolf, MQ-25 Stingray and E-7 Wedgetail programs in Ridley Park, PA.  This position offers a flexible alternate work schedule (9/80).  As a member of the team, you will directly contribute to the analysis of engineering data, top-down breakdown of provisioned items and utilize knowledge of aircraft parts, components and maintenance data.  Provisioning provides the customer with the analytical decisions that enable the identification of affordable inventory requirements.  Provisioning has impact on several supportability efforts which must be in place upon delivery of the aircraft as well as life cycle demands.

This position is 100% on-site.  The selected candidate will be required to perform all work onsite at the Ridley Park, PA location.

Position Responsibilities

  • Analyze engineering data and change proposals for spares engineering impacts and incorporate those approved changes into the provisioning database.

  • Investigate, analyze and document data for spares / provisioning requirements by using engineering drawings, specifications, regulations, and field experience.

  • Prepare technical documents, provisioning plans, maintenance plans, illustrated parts breakdowns, support plans, and briefings while adhering to company policies and procedures.

  • Apply knowledge of individual customer requirements, supplier capabilities, product configuration, maintenance manuals, warranty policies and procedures.

  • The candidate will interface regularly with military customers, equipment suppliers, and Boeing engineering and manufacturing organizations to ensure delivery of spares engineering products.

These positions must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required.  "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • Experience with gathering, preparing and analyzing engineering/technical data.

  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial to communicate knowledge of customer support and company processes in a diverse workplace.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • Experience using a verbal and written communication skills are crucial.

  • Ability to read and understand engineering/technical drawings and parts lists to develop top-down breakdown lists of aircraft subsystems.

  • Basic knowledge of Department of Defense provisioning standards such as MIL-STD-1388-2B or GEIA-STD-0007.

  • Basic knowledge of aircraft maintenance and/or supply chain functions.

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
