We are looking for a Paymaster to join our team!

• Salary range  003: 61 400$ to 76 800$ (Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training & experience related to the position.)

What’s involved in this role:

• Performing activities related to the payroll processing of hourly-paid Canadian employees, in compliance with various provincial regulations, across multiple payroll environments, ensuring validation;
• Keeping employee master files up to date in payroll systems and ensuring compliance with the HR system;
• Properly applying multiple labor agreements specific to various establishments and the standards in place for non-unionized sites;
• Preparing various documents and reports, and employment records;
• Participating in the year-end process;
• Analyzing, in collaboration with human capital and the payroll process specialist, changes to collective agreements;
• Performing retroactive calculations during the renewal of labor agreements;
• Keeping various procedures up to date to ensure compliant processing;
• Collaborating on the integration of unionized payroll for all new acquisitions;
• Identifying opportunities for improvement in systems or procedures related to payroll processing.

What you need to join our team:

• A D.E.C. in administrative techniques or a related field and a Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification;
• 8 years of experience in a similar position;
• Proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written, is essential;
• Knowledge of Workday, Kronos/UKG, and SAP software would be an asset;
• Excellent command of Office Suite tools (Excel, Word, etc.).
